I am the first to admit that I suffer from over-dramatic cold disorder…I take to my duvet at the slightest hint of a cold, and a stuffy nose has me driving everyone in the house for the hills. My husband calls me a delicate flower (to my face mind you, who knows what he mutters under his breath when I ring my dainty bell and ask for more tea) and dreads the onset of the cold and flu season because I spend the first half fretting over when it will hit our home, and the second half suffering like a Hollywood starlet. Sniffling, coughing, sneezing, aching, sluggish and drowsy are not really looks that appeal to me and I do everything I can to keep them at bay, or at least on a short visit.
Surviving cold and flu season is easier said than done, but with planning, you can keep your family healthy for longer. The Safeway “Be Well.
