The manic days of getting the house ready for the movers left many of my household duties neglected, among them was the shopping. With the children hungry, the shopping delivery a few days away and our car sold, I took to the streets and did my shopping ‘the old fashioned way‘. And as luck would have it, while sorting through things in the loft, I found my old shopping basket, and was able to give it one last twirl around the block.
When I first bought this basket, shopping trollies and baskets were more for little old ladies in support hose, and looked like this….
Then something magical happened, designers caught on to the eco craze and like wild fire, soon every glamour-pus in town was carting around a fashionable version of their grandmother’s trolley.
And overnight the image of the lady with the shopping trolly went from this…
To this…..
